Terms of Use

This is a translation. The Japanese version is the governing text. If the two differ, the Japanese version (日本語版) prevails.

Enacted: September 28, 2026 / Last updated: October 2, 2026

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the childcare logging app “nocoru” and its website (together, the “Service”), provided by BitPluse合同会社 (the “Operator”). They apply to everyone who uses the Service (each a “User”).

Article 1 (Agreement)

Users use the Service on the basis that they have agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. By tapping “Get Started” on the app's first screen, a User is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 2 (What the Service Offers)

The Service is for keeping records of a child's care and sharing them with family. Its main features are as follows.

  • Logs for bottles, nursing, diapers, sleep, meals (including solid-food ingredients), health, growth and more, and looking back at them (insights and charts)
  • Inviting people to a Family, sharing logs in real time, and short posts that only members of the Family can read
  • Logging from widgets, the Lock Screen (Live Activities), Apple Watch and Siri, and notifications for reminders and Family posts
  • Transferring to a new device with a QR code or an Apple or Google account supported by your device, and importing logs from another app (Piyolog)
  • Features available with paid Premium (detailed insights, exporting logs, AI-drafted logs, hiding ads, and so on)

Feature availability depends on the device and OS. AI-drafted logs, Live Activities, Apple Watch and Siri are available on supported iPhones. The features may change with app updates.

Article 3 (Accounts)

  • The Service can be used without registering an email address or password. An anonymous account is created the first time the app is launched, and a key created on the device identifies that device.
  • To prepare for switching devices or losing one, you can optionally link an Apple or Google account supported by your device. If you lose your device or delete the app without linking, you may not be able to recover your logs.
  • Users manage their own devices and accounts at their own responsibility.

Article 4 (Sharing with Family)

  • Users can invite other users to their Family with an invite link or QR code. What each person can do depends on their role in the Family (Owner, Parent, Caregiver, or Viewer).
  • Members of a Family can see the logs and photos of that Family's children. A User who invites someone must first make sure that person is someone they are willing to share the logs with. Give an invite link only to the person you want to invite.
  • If a member is removed from a Family, or leaves it, they can no longer see that Family's logs.

Article 5 (Handling of Logs and Health Information)

  • The Service's insights and predictions (such as estimates for the next feeding or sleep), the records of solid-food ingredients and allergy labels, and AI-drafted logs are estimates made from the User's logs. They are not medical diagnosis or advice.
  • For decisions about a child's health or allergies, always consult a doctor or other professional. If there is a sudden change in a child's condition, contact a medical institution or an emergency consultation service (such as the Children's Medical Consultation hotline #8000 in Japan) instead of the Service.
  • Users are to check the contents of an AI draft before saving it.

Article 6 (Premium)

  • Premium is an auto-renewing subscription on the App Store or Google Play, priced at ¥480 per month or ¥3,980 per year (tax included). The price shown on the app's purchase screen takes precedence.
  • Premium is active per Family, and all members of that Family can use it. Only a person whose role in the Family is Owner or Parent can purchase it. If the person who purchased it leaves or is removed from the Family, Premium becomes inactive for that Family.
  • A subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled by the deadline set by the store you purchased from. Cancel an App Store subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the period from Settings on your iPhone, then your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Cancel a Google Play subscription before the next renewal from Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions in Google Play. Use the same account you purchased with. Deleting the app or deleting your account does not cancel it.
  • Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the terms set by Apple or Google, whichever provides the store you purchased from. The Operator does not offer refunds except as required by law.
  • When prices change, we will announce it in advance in the app or on this site and follow the procedures set by Apple or Google, whichever provides the store you purchased from.

Article 7 (Ads)

In the free version, ads appear at the bottom of the Insights and History screens. We do not show ads based on users' behavior (personalized ads). Premium shows no ads.

Article 8 (Prohibited Conduct)

When using the Service, Users must not do any of the following.

  • Violate laws or public order and morals
  • Impersonate another person, or improperly use another person's invite link or device
  • Try to access another Family's logs without proper authority
  • Gain unauthorized access to the Service's servers or network, or place an excessive load on them
  • Use the Service for purposes other than recording and sharing childcare (including saving photos that infringe the rights of third parties)
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or modify the Service, or otherwise infringe the intellectual property rights of the Operator or third parties
  • Do anything else that the Operator reasonably judges to interfere with the operation of the Service

Article 9 (Suspension of Use)

If a User violates these Terms, the Operator may stop that User's device from using the Service without prior notice.

Article 10 (Users' Logs)

  • The rights to the logs and photos a User enters belong to the User. The Operator stores, transmits and processes them (for example, resizing photos) only to the extent necessary to provide the Service.
  • Members of a Premium Family can export logs (CSV and JSON) from Settings → Export Records in the app.
  • Users can delete their account and logs at any time from Settings → Protect Your Data in the app. What is deleted is described in the Privacy Policy.
  • The handling of logs is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 11 (Intellectual Property Rights)

The intellectual property rights in the Service's software, design, text, trademarks and so on belong to the Operator or the rightful owners.

Article 12 (Changes, Interruptions, and Ending the Service)

  • The Operator may change the Service, or stop it temporarily for maintenance or because of a failure.
  • When ending the Service, we will in principle announce it in the app or on this site at least 3 months in advance and provide an opportunity to export your logs.

Article 13 (Disclaimer)

  • The Operator does not guarantee that the Service will always run without interruption, that logs will not be lost, or that the Service is fit for a particular purpose. The Service also stores logs on the device and lets you log offline, and we work to reduce the risk of logs being lost.
  • If the Operator causes damage to a User for reasons attributable to the Operator, the Operator will compensate for the direct damage that would ordinarily arise. However, where the damage results from the Operator's negligence (excluding gross negligence), the amount of compensation is capped at the Premium fee the User paid in the month the damage occurred.
  • The cap in the preceding paragraph does not apply where the Operator has acted intentionally or with gross negligence.

Article 14 (Changes to These Terms)

The Operator may change these Terms in accordance with the provisions on changes to standard terms and conditions in the Civil Code of Japan. When we do, we will announce the content of the change and the date it takes effect in the app or on this site before that date.

Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. If a dispute arises in connection with the Service, the district court with jurisdiction over the Operator's head office location is the exclusive court of agreed jurisdiction for the first instance.
